Description
Farningham House is an early 18th-century building on the north-east side of Farningham High Street. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, featuring two hipped dormers and a panelled parapet flanked by two stone urns. The house has five windows with restored glazing bars of eight panes, and a stringcourse. The main entrance is set within a doorcase with a moulded architrave surround, a projecting cornice supported by console brackets, and a six-panelled door of moulded and fielded panels. A recessed L-wing was added to the north-west in the 19th century.
