Description
The front block of the Farningham Social Club and Institute, known as Croft House, is an 18th-century building with a later 19th-century extension. The original house, located to the southeast, is two storeys high and features weatherboarding on its façade. It has a hipped tiled roof with an eaves cornice and includes two sash windows with intact glazing bars. The northwest wing, added in the 19th century, is also two storeys tall and has a basement and attics, faced with pebbledash. This section has a tiled roof with two dormers and two sash windows, also with intact glazing bars. There is a later weather porch and three steps leading to the street, accompanied by an iron handrail.
