Description
This is an 18th-century Bath stone urn located to the southwest of Combe Bank. It is one of a pair and stands approximately 5 feet high. The urn features a partially gadrooned base and has writhing serpents as handles. It is set on a square Bath stone base that is about 3 feet high, which includes a moulded cornice and base. The design of the urn is based on a work by the sculptor Thomas Parsons, inspired by Giulio Romano.
