Description

The urn located to the southeast of Combe Bank is a notable 18th-century structure. It is one of a pair of Bathstone urns that are inspired by designs from the sculptor Thomas Parsons, which are derived from the work of Giulio Romano. This urn stands approximately 5 feet tall and features a partially gadrooned base, with writhing serpents serving as handles. It is set upon a square Bathstone base that is about 3 feet high, complete with a moulded cornice and base.
