Description
The Oast Houses at Froghole Farm, built in the late 19th century, are constructed of brick and feature two square kilns topped with truncated pyramidal plain tile roofs that have cowls. Attached to these kilns are two wings with lower eaves on the south side. The west wing has a hipped plain tile roof and includes one two-light window in the south wall and another window in the west wall at eaves level. The east wing has a boarded south gable with a two-light window beneath it, along with two small windows at eaves level on the east elevation. Additionally, there is a small opening near ground level in the north wall of the east kiln. These oast houses are part of a group with Froghole Farmhouse, both of which are depicted in a painting by Rowland Hilder.
