Description

Bubblestone Farmhouse is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 16th century, with later alterations. It is a two-storey, three-window structure of irregular design. The roof is tiled, and a projecting chimney with offsets is situated at the left end. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is red brick with a galleted coursed rubble plinth. Windows are 19th-century and modern casements. A boarded door is sheltered by a small flat hood. A later, low-sweeping lean-to extension is located at the rear, featuring a dormer and an additional chimney. The farmhouse forms part of a group of buildings on The Green.
