Description
Hadley Hall is a timber-framed farmhouse, originally dating from the 16th century, with later additions and alterations from the 17th and 19th centuries. The structure is timber framed with brick infill, and has a 20th-century slate roof. It has two storeys. The front of the building has three bays, with gabled sections on either side. The bay on the right has a 3-light, cambered-headed window from the 20th century, with a stone sill. A 19th-century 3-glazed doorway is centrally located, sheltered by a gabled porch. To its right is a similar 3-light, cambered-headed window, and another to the left. The first floor features three 3-light, cambered-headed windows, likely from the 19th or 20th century. A chimney stack rises from the right side of the roof ridge. A band of bricks, two depths, runs horizontally across the facade, with headers supporting stretchers. A 20th-century lean-to outshut is attached to the right side, above which is a row of close studding with angle braces in the centre. A 20th-century chimney stack stands to the left.
