Description

Rock Cottage is a late 18th to early 19th century building. It is two storeys high and clad in weatherboard. The roof is slate-covered, and the ground floor has two sash windows with intact glazing bars and shutters. A central doorcase features a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. A single-storey, lean-to extension, built in a matching style, adjoins the right side. Rock Cottage contributes to the group value of this setting along with the Rock and Fountain Public House.
