Description
Betsoms Hill Farmhouse is a double span house that likely dates from the 18th century, although the rear section may be older. It has two storeys, an attic, and a sunk basement, featuring three windows. The farmhouse has a fairly high-pitched tiled roof with end chimneys and two renewed hipped gabled dormers. The eaves are plastered and slightly coved. The exterior is constructed of red brick with some blue headers, and includes a band and plinth. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars; those on the first floor have been renewed, while the ground floor windows are set under segmental brick arches. There is a reproduction wood porch supported by fluted square columns, leading to a six-panel door.
