Description

The Stone Masons Workshop and Yard is an early 19th-century industrial building located in Boughton Monchelsea. Constructed from stone rubble with a slate roof, it stands two storeys high and features two window openings with square casements. The building includes loading doors on both the ground and first floors, which are made of planks. This workshop and yard is significant as the only remaining industrial structure from the Boughton quarries, which supplied most of Kent's ragstone during the 19th century.
