Description

1-6 Bower Terrace is a group of three pairs of semi-detached houses dating from around 1860. The houses were built with stucco and are three storeys in height. Each pair has four bays, with the central two bays projecting forward. They have hipped roofs and four pilasters flank the front of each pair. The central two windows on the ground and first floors of each pair are triple round-headed windows with Italianate architraves, while the top floor windows are double sash windows. The side windows of each pair are ordinary sashes. Each pair has a round-headed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight above the door. They have plinths, with Nos 5 and 6 having stone plinths. Numbers 1 to 6 form a group.
