The monument to William Reiffgens is a chest tomb located about 9 metres north of the north porch of the Church of St. Peter in Boughton Monchelsea. This early 17th-century tomb is made of stone and sits on a stone base, featuring a chamfered plinth and a deeply corniced lid. The side panels are plain, while the south side is inscribed with details about William Reiffgens, who was "High German borne," and includes a detailed account of his bequests to the poor. He passed away in 1613.
