Description
This is a chest tomb located about half a meter south of the east end of the south aisle of Boughton Monchelsea Church. It dates from the early 17th century and is made of stone, resting on a stone base without a plinth. The lid is chamfered, and the sides feature verged and pitted stone. The inscription is found only on the west end, commemorating Sidragh Fowler, a Freemason, and it is believed to have been erected in 1615.
