Description

This monument, dating from the 18th century, is located about 11.5 metres northwest of the nave of the Church of St. Nicholas in Otham. It is made of stone and sits on a rusticated stone base. The pedestal features rock-faced chamfered rustication on three sides and is topped by an obelisk. There is an ashlar panel on the east side of the pedestal, but the inscription was illegible at the time of the last survey. The monument is surrounded by what was once a railed stone kerb.
