Description

The monument to Thomas Jefferey is a chest tomb located about 32 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It dates from the early 18th century and was restored in the 19th century. The tomb is made of stone and sits on a doubly stepped stone base. It features a moulded plinth and side panels, with a plain later lid that is inscribed with the name of Thomas Jefferey, who died in 1729.
