Description

The ice house, located about 23 metres north-west of the former stables at Linton Park, dates from the late 18th century. It features a spheroidal underground chamber that is approximately 8 metres deep, lined with brick. The entrance tunnel is vaulted and constructed of brick, with a date inscribed as J.E. 1788 near the top.
