Description
The Old Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse located on Willow Lane in Yalding, previously marked on Ordnance Survey maps as Upper Fowle Hall Farm and also known as The Old House and Little Fowle Hall Farm. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a gabled form, wooden eaves bands, and projecting gable end stacks made of red and grey brick. There are two small, hipped dormers, each with two lights, in the roof. The front facade is regular, with three windows, each containing three lights, and a blocked central window. A central door is sheltered by an open timber porch with a lean-to roof of plain tiles. A rear lean-to addition is built from similar materials, featuring a slender projecting stack to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
