Description
The Beeches at Oakwood Hospital is a house built in 1866, originally serving as the Superintendent's House. It has an irregular shape and is constructed of ashlar stone, with a hipped slate roof featuring a moulded eaves cornice. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars, with a canted bay extending through two storeys on both the St Andrew's Road elevation and the left side elevation. A decorative moulded stringcourse runs around the building. A single mullioned and transomed window is present on the ground floor. The simple doorcase is topped with a rectangular fanlight.
