Description

The Waterloo Public House is a mid-19th century corner building located on Wellington Street. It stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring a bracket eaves cornice. The front elevation includes two sash windows and one central blank space. There are string courses between the floors, and the first-floor windows have moulded surrounds with cornices and brackets. Above the central window space, there is a pediment. The building also has a 19th-century bar front with four pilasters and rounded cornices. The rear elevation is similar in style to the front.
