Description

The Parish Church of St Botolph is an early 14th-century building with some elements from the 13th century and earlier. The tower was rebuilt after its collapse in 1717. The church features original flintwork walls and a tiled roof. The window tracery was renewed in 1852 by Brandon and Ritchie, following typical patterns found in Kent. Inside, there is a notable wall monument dedicated to Richard and Esther Crich, dating from 1709.
