Description
Downs Hall is an 18th-century building with cement rendered brick walls and a tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features a string course at the first floor level and an eaves cornice. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with intact glazing bars, while the first floor has three similar windows. The roof has two hipped, tiled dormers with casement windows and is gable-ended. A large porch with a hipped tiled roof enhances the entrance. There is a modern two-storey extension to number 42, which is attached only to the first floor.
