Description

The Rose and Thistle Public House is a pair of buildings dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are two storeys high and faced with stucco. Each building has one sash window with some original glazing bars remaining. Later shopfronts have been inserted. The Rose and Thistle Public House, along with Nos. 42 and 45 and the Terrace Tavern, form a notable group.
