Description

This is a headstone located about 1 metre north of the north aisle of the Church of St. Stephen in Lympne. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of stone. The headstone features a doubly rounded top that is intricately carved with two skulls and crossed bones. It is inscribed in memory of Cathirn Knatchbull, who died in 1724, along with her son.
