Description

This is a farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a facade from the 18th century. It's constructed of red and grey brick in a Flemish-type bond. The right-hand cross-wing has brickwork on the ground floor, with tile hanging above. The roof is tiled. The main range is one-and-a-half storeys high, while the cross-wing is two storeys high. Flint footings are visible. The roof of the main range is hipped to the left and down to the wing on the right. The cross-wing has higher eaves and a lower ridge than the main range, with a hipped roof to the front. A brick stack is positioned on the front slope of the roof, to the left of the centre of the main range. The fenestration is irregular, comprising three windows. There are two dormers with hipped, plain tile roofs at the left and right ends of the main range, and one three-light casement window on the cross-wing. A boarded door is situated behind an open timber-framed porch with a hipped, plain tile roof, located under the stack. The interior has not been inspected.
