Description

Misling Farm is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations in the 19th century and possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is constructed of red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a hipped design, with a multiflue brick stack located to the left of the centre. The ground floor features an irregular pattern of three four-pane sash windows set in open boxes, while the lower windows are similar, but under relieving arches that suggest the presence of wider windows at one time. A boarded door is set within a brick porch with a hipped tile roof situated beneath the stack. A datestone inscribed “I M 1763” is present. The interior has not been inspected.
