Description

This granary, located about 25 metres south of North Elham Farmhouse, dates from the 19th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a gabled slate roof that features remnants of crested ridge tiles. On the east side, there is a centrally-pivoted four-pane light, and a louvred light is positioned near the apex of the north gable. The long west side has a virtually full-height door at its centre. The structure is supported by five stone staddles along its length and three across its width. The interior has not been inspected.
