Description

This is a chest tomb located about 20 metres north of the tower of the Church of St. Mary and St. Ethelburga, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of stone and features a rectangular base with a moulded plinth and lid. The sides are slightly tapering with reeded panels. There is a fielded inscription panel with concave corners. The north side is inscribed to Ann Broadbridge, who died in 1840, while the south side is inscribed to William Broadbridge, who died in 1855.
