Description

No. 4 The Old High Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features an arcade that extends across the pavement. It is constructed of red brick and has five sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. The first-floor windows have segmental heads. The ground floor arcade is supported by six Tuscan columns, and there is a modillion cornice above the arcade. This cornice continues around the George Lane front on the east side.
