Description

Nos 84 and 86 on The Bayle in Folkestone are a mid-19th century pair of buildings that stand three storeys tall and are finished in stucco with tiled roofs. Each building features one sash window with vertical bars. The windows of No 86 are particularly notable for their architraves, vermiculated keystones, and stops. Both buildings have 19th-century shopfronts, with No 86 displaying two moulded pig heads as part of its butcher's sign. Nos 82 to 86 form a cohesive group.
