Description

This house row dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is timber-framed and clad in weatherboard, with a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high with attic space. The roof is half-hipped on the left side. There are red brick stacks located towards the left end – positioned centrally within Harriet Cottage – towards the right end, and slightly projecting from the right gable end. Three dormers are visible, weatherboarded and located one on either side of the left-hand stack, and a smaller one in the centre of the row. The windows are irregular in arrangement, featuring five three-light casements with thin glazing bars; one window is placed beneath each dormer, and one is located on either side of the stack towards the right end of the building. A front door with six fielded panels is set within a porch with a weatherboarded gable, found beneath the left-hand stack. A second porch with a half-glazed door is positioned under the second first-floor window from the left. There are two short rear wings extending from the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
