Description

This is a mid-19th century public house situated on the corner of two roads. The ground floor is finished with channelled render, while the first floor features banded plain tiles and fishscale tiles. The roof is tiled, hipped, with narrow individual hips over the chamfered road junction corner. A red brick stack is present on the front slope of the roof, centrally positioned on the south elevation, and another towards the right end of the elevation to the other road. Dormers are visible on all elevations, including the rear. The building has a regular fenestration pattern with five eight-pane sash windows to one road and four to the other. The ground floor windows are recessed. A blocked door is found at the west end of one elevation, and a half-glazed door with a rectangular fanlight is set two steps up, off-centre on the other elevation. The interior remains uninspected.
