Description

The sundial in the churchyard of the Parish Church of St Mary and St Eanswythe in Folkestone dates from the late 19th century. It is set on two stone steps and features a circular pillar adorned with trefoil carving. The sundial bears the inscription, "Remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set," and has a bronze dial.
