Description
The monument to Elizabeth Woolly, located about sixteen metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St. Stephen, is a Grade II listed early 19th-century table tomb. It is made of stone and features a moulded plinth and a corniced lid. The tomb is adorned with fluted clasping pilasters that are reeded towards the base. It is set on two stone steps and was formerly enclosed by a railing. The inscription commemorates Elizabeth Woolly, who died in 1819.
