Description

This is a mid-18th century house, originally built as a Rectory. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof, and stands on a plinth. It has stacks on the left and right sides, and two hipped dormers in the attic. The windows are arranged in a regular pattern, with five glazing bar sashes on the first floor and four on the ground floor, all with gauged heads and a flying cornice. A central half-glazed door is set within a 19th-century gabled porch. The Rectory was funded with £200 from Queen Anne's Bounty and £200 from St. John's College, Oxford.
