Description
Nos 1 and 2 Albion Place are a pair of houses dated 1889, located on Eastry Church Street. They are constructed of painted brick with a slate roof and stand two storeys high on a plinth. The houses feature a tented verandah supported by wooden brackets, which is stepped to the left and right over the entrances. A brick eaves cornice runs along the hipped roof, which has a central stack. The windows are regularly arranged, with two sash windows on each floor; the first-floor windows have louvred shutters. To the left is a half-glazed door, and to the right is a boarded door, both of which are topped by trellised porches. There are flights of four steps leading to the right door and three steps to the left door. The houses are included for their group value.
