Description

Number 2 and "Holme" is a pair of cottages dating from around 1700. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a plain tiled roof. The buildings are one storey with an attic, set on a plinth that has an offset base and a kneelered gable on the right side. There are three hipped dormers and chimney stacks located at the rear and on the right end. To the left, there is a wooden casement window with a weather boarded panel below it, and to the right, there are two glazing bar sash windows, all of which have segmental heads. The left side has a panelled door, while the right side features a half-glazed door, both topped with painted and rendered heads.
