Description
Nos 1 to 4 Camden Crescent were built in 1840 and originally formed a complete crescent similar to Waterloo Crescent, although the other houses have since been demolished. The buildings are four storeys high with a basement and an area. They are constructed of yellow brick, with the ground floor featuring stucco and rustication. There is a parapet above the third floor, a cornice above the second floor, and a stuccoed string course above the first floor. A continuous iron balcony with a hood is present on the first floor. No 1 has a curved front, and each house has three windows with restored glazing bars. The buildings have group value with New Bridge House in New Bridge Street.
