Description
New Bridge House was built as a bank in 1865 by Rowland Rees Junior. It is a single-storey building made of rusticated stucco, topped with a mansarded slate roof that features seven dormers. The façade includes a parapet with stone balustrading, a modillion cornice, and a triglyph frieze. There are six pilasters and a central porch with a pediment, which has a round cartouche and is supported by two plain Tuscan columns. On either side of the porch, there are recessed sections of rusticated design, each topped with an urn finial supported by brackets adorned with swags. The building has six sash windows, each with recessed blanks underneath. New Bridge House has group value with the adjacent properties numbered 1 to 4 Camden Crescent.
