Description
Mulberry House is an 18th-century house that was extended in 1813 and again in the late 20th century. It features channelled render and brown brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic on a plinth, with three hipped dormers and chimney stacks at both ends. The windows are arranged regularly, with three glazing bar sashes and shutters on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The central entrance has a half-glazed door, which is now fixed, surrounded by a tripartite design and topped with a flat hood on brackets. To the left, there is a flat-roofed two-storey extension, and to the right, a recessed two-storey wing with one glazing bar sash on each floor. The current entry is through a half-glazed door in a 20th-century red brick porch on the right side. The house was extended in 1813 with funds from Queen Anne's bounty and served as a vicarage until 1900.
