Description
Castle Farm is a house that dates from the early 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and flint, with extensions in yellow brick, and features a plain tiled roof. The building is L-shaped and consists of at least three different construction periods. It has two storeys and a hipped roof set on a plinth, with a plat band on the central bays and a dogtooth cornice. There is a projecting hipped wing on the right side. The house has stacks located to the centre left and to the right.
On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, along with a central tripartite glazing bar sash. The ground floor features two glazing bar sashes and a tripartite sash, with a central six-panelled door that has the top two panels glazed. The central portion of the house is primarily made of flint and rubble sourced from the nearby Richborough Castle.
