Description

Claypits Farm is a house dating to approximately 1840, built in a style associated with the Goodnestone Estate. It is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. The house has two storeys, set on a plinth, and features a brick eaves cornice, kneelered gables, and brick stack clusters to the left and right sides, and at the rear. The front facade has two three-light Dering windows on each floor, and a central two-storey porch with a kneelered gable, a three-light Dering window on the first floor, and a rib and stud door within a round-arched doorway. A rear wing also has a kneelered gable and two three-light Dering windows on each floor.
