Description

This is a house built around 1700, located adjacent to and south of the Post Office on High Street in Eastry. It features painted brickwork and a plain tiled roof. The building has a two-cell lobby entry plan and is one storey high with an attic and a basement set on a plinth with a plat band. The roof is half-hipped, with two hipped dormers and a central chimney stack. There are two glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads, and to the left, there is a grilled opening for the basement. The central entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels, with the top two being glazed, and is topped with a flat hood and accessed by one step.
