Description
This listing describes a tomb chest and headstone located about 2 metres south of the Church of All Saints. The tomb chest is dedicated to William Hull, who died in 1756. It is made of red brick and features a moulded top slab, along with a stone inscription plaque at the head. Hull served as the gardener for Waldershare Park for 25 years. The headstone commemorates Mrs. Elizabeth Harman, who died in 1772. It stands about 3 feet high and has scrolled shoulders and a bifurcated head adorned with a cherub. Mrs. Harman was the housekeeper at Waldershare Park for 40 years.
