Description

The Old House is a 17th-century building located on the west side of Middle Street. It has two storeys and attics, with a stuccoed exterior. The house features two restored pedimented dormers and three sash windows. The first-floor windows have restored glazing bars, while the ground floor windows are at pavement level and include wooden shutters with wide sash bars. There is a sun fire plaque on the building. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters and an entablature. The Old House is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 13 (odd).
