Description

The water pump, dating from around 1840, is made of cast iron and is located adjacent to the chapel wall on the north-east side of the chapel. It features a decorative outlet with foliage design and a hook for a bucket, along with a fluted dome on top. The pump is operated by a curved handle that ends in an open heart shape. This structure is part of the group that includes Bartlemas and St Bartholomew's Hospital.
