Description

The stables adjoining Wingham Court are a stable range built in the 18th century. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a plain tiled roof. The front facing the road is a single storey set on a plinth and has a half hipped roof. The brickwork shows evidence of at least seven periods of building. On the rear elevation, there are three half doors and two glazed doors, with the stables at the eastern end having been converted for domestic use. The stables are connected to Wingham Court by a boarded gate situated between two larger brick piers topped with ball finials.
