Description

The house is a mid-18th century farmhouse. It is built of painted brick with a plain tile roof. The design includes a plinth, a plat band, and boxed eaves to the hipped roof, which has a central chimney stack. The windows are arranged regularly, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all with segmental heads. A boarded door is set within a gabled porch with a slate roof. The house was built shortly after the division of Goldstone manor in 1754.
