Description

Giles Quay is a building located at 46A Strand Street, originally constructed in the 17th century with alterations made in the 18th century. To the west of No 46, there is an outbuilding that has been restored and converted into a dwelling house. Most of the wall facing the street has been rebuilt in brick, although the top east corner retains some original timbering. The building is two storeys high and features a pantiled roof. It has a doorway with brick pilasters and a shaped pediment, but there are no windows facing the street, only one window at each end of the building.
