Description

Nos 45 and 47 on High Street in Greenhithe form an L-shaped range. No 47 is an 18th century or earlier building that was refaced in the late 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, constructed of brown brick. The parapet is ramped up to accommodate an attic window, with stone coping. The half-hipped roof is covered with pantiles, and there are three sashes with intact glazing bars. The doorcase features a moulded architrave surround with a projecting cornice, and the door consists of six fielded panels, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. No 45 is a stuccoed building with a mid-19th century three-light canted bay. At the time of the survey in 1979, this property was undergoing extensive repairs.
