Description

The Woodlands, formerly Nos 79 and 81, is a building dating from around 1800. It is two storeys tall with a semi-basement, constructed of brown brick. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring a cornice and parapet. The building has five windows in total, with the three central window bays projecting and topped with a pediment. The glazing bars are intact. The two central ground floor windows are set within round-headed arcading. There is a porch between these windows, supported by twin Doric columns, which features a decorated fanlight, panelled reveals, and a five-panelled door. This door is accessed by six steps that include a cast iron handrail.
